Sorted a problem with my DSG which everyone else said had to be replaced. I spoke to David who, as well as putting up with 101 stupid questions from me, explained this issue and he made more sense in those few minutes than all I had heard and read previously. Quoted a price much cheaper than everywhere else and turnaround time of a day was met. My only little gripe is that I didnt get a call to say the car was ready, but maybe I had called them before they got round to calling me. That said, if I lived closer to this place and didnt already have a superb garage looking after my car for its other needs, I would definitely be using VAG Bolton regularly. As for the repairs... time will tell but I've done my first extensive trip without the problem occurring and the warranty on the work has put my mind at ease. Thanks so much to everyone involved. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....called in on Tuesday to enquire about having a rear shock absorber fitted to my 2012 Skoda fabia ..I was and felt at ease when he took my details recommended two to be fitted with bump stops and with it being a safety issue to get done asap and he would call me with a price... Well true to his words which you don't get from hardly any other garages in the area he rang with a fully fitted price.. Yes fully fitted not the usual "but we might need this we haven't seen what type of job..the bolts might be stuck". Told me drop in tomorrow it needs to be done asap. I dropped car off at 9.00 next day handed keys over. Within moments the car was on ramp being started..unbelievable service.. Rang me soon as job complete 11.15 ish. Same as quoted price..
