This fault relates to the turbo controller (J724), sometimes referred to as the turbo actuator or E-positioner. Turbo controller faults - Symptoms

- Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminated
- Noticeably slow acceleration or reduced engine performance
- Excessive exhaust smoke
- Limp mode activation
A diagnostic scan will typically reveal the stored code P3348-004 electrical malfunction, indicating a control circuit problem with the turbocharger controller 1 (J724).
