We are now offering a new specialist service for Audi performance vehicles – magnetic clutch replacement. This service applies to Audi vehicles fitted with the 3.0 TFSI engine, so performance 'S' models including the S4, S5, S6, S7, S8 and Q7.

Fitting the magnetic clutch to supercharged models requires a specialist Audi part which allows us to offer this service. Audi Part VAS6909 is used to energise the magnetic clutch on the compressor module of the 3.0 TFSI upon removal and installation.

Customers are alerted to an issue with the supercharger/magnetic clutch via the EPC light and fault on the dashboard.

Some customers also report a loss of boost pressure, unusual noises and also the car going into limp mode.
