Audi P060C00 Fault Code – Diagnosed & Repaired by VAG Bolton in Greater Manchester

VAG Bolton’s engineers are diagnosing and repairing engine management faults on Audi and other VAG vehicles displaying fault code P060C00.

This fault relates to the engine control module (ECM), J623, and is recorded when the module detects an internal main processor performance issue. In some cases, this is a rare occurrence caused by the sensitivity of the ECM’s diagnostic software, rather than an actual hardware failure.

P060C00 Fault Code – Causes

There are several possible causes behind the P060C00 fault code:

Faulty engine control module (ECM) or an internal programming error

Poor or missing earth connections to the control module

The fault frequently occurs during a cold start or when the Start-Stop system operates. Restarting the engine may temporarily clear the warning, although the fault can return intermittently.
